1. Web hosting
All web hosting plans carry a 30-day money-back guarantee for new customers. If you are not satisfied within the first 30 days, request a full refund of the hosting fee from the Control Panel. The guarantee applies once per customer, to your initial order only.
2. Email hosting
Email hosting plans carry a 14-day money-back guarantee for new customers. The refund covers the plan fee only, not per-mailbox overages.
3. Domain names
Domain registrations and renewals are non-refundable once submitted to the registry. This is a registry-level constraint we cannot override. Please double-check the domain name at checkout.
4. SSL certificates
Paid SSL certificates are refundable within 7 days of issue if the certificate has not been revoked or installed on a public-facing server. EV certificates are non-refundable once the vetting process has begun, as we incur upstream costs at that point.
5. Domain transfers
Domain transfer fees are non-refundable once the transfer has been initiated with the gaining registry. If a transfer fails through no fault of yours, we will credit the amount to your account.
6. How to request a refund
Open a support ticket from the Control Panel or email billing@namelyhost.com with your invoice number. We do not require a reason, but feedback helps us improve.
7. Refund method
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Credit-card refunds appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days; FPX and bank-transfer refunds within 3 to 5 business days.
8. Processing time
We target 2 business days to approve a valid refund request. Complex cases (fraud review, chargebacks) may take longer.
